VIRGINIA PIGNAGNOLI

Virginia Pignagnoli is a Juan de la Cierva-Incorporación Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. She is the author of Post-Postmodern Fiction and the Rise of Digital Epitexts (2023), and co-editor of Narrative Co-Construction: Author-Audience Interactions and Narrative Theory (forthcoming, with M. Effron and M. McMurry). She has guest-edited a special issue of Neohelicon on “Ephemerality Across (digital) Media” (2021, with R. Sapino), and her articles have appeared in journals such as Narrative, Poetics Today, Neohelicon, and the European Journal of English Studies (EJES). She specializes in North American literature, post-postmodern fiction, and narrative theories. Her current research project focuses on the co-construction of work in contemporary U.S. literature.
